Be a part of a team that makes coffee and tea possible on Sunday mornings.
Do you enjoy talking and connecting with friends and welcoming new faces over a good cup of coffee? In this volunteer position you serve our community by making our pre-service and Community Hour social times possible on Sunday mornings.
- The early morning shift begins around 8:45 am to prepare initial batches of coffee and ends prior to the service.
- The Community Hour shift starts at 11:15 am when volunteers replenish supplies as needed and ends around 12:30 pm after clean-up is completed.
There are 2-4 Java Crew volunteers each Sunday.
This opportunity will enable you to:
- Interact with a wide variety of congregants.
- Provide hospitality to Sunday attendees.
- Build community with other crew members while serving our church.
Volunteering for the first time? No worries! You will receive assistance from experienced Java Crew members. All that you need to get started is also included in this detailed instructions sheet.
