    The Safety Team at UUCB is the eyes and ears of the building and congregation before and during services. Our primary duty is to maintain a safe space for the congregants, ministers, and staff to be fully present in the service. We coordinate efforts with the board and ministers to ensure all stakeholders are aware and acting on concerns and issues that arise. We track the weather for potential threats such as sleet, snow, and tornados. We are aware of building fire alarms and procedures to evacuate in event of emergency. We maintain situational awareness of the congregation attendees to be aware of health emergencies or other concerns of people.
