As the days grow shorter, we pause to honor the changing season and to seek balance in our lives. We acknowledge the value of light and growth, and the value of the increasing darkness and rest.

Hope is something that we need at all ages and stages of life. This all ages service will deepen our engagement of active hope no matter how old or young we are.

How do we live more intentionally - meaning more thoughtfully about our choices and decisions and more aware of how our values guide us? -

Through story, song and ritual, we will explore the importance of intention and even set intentions for ourselves for the New Year. -

With leadership from members of our UU Jewish Connections group, we will explore and honor the stories and rituals of Hanukkah. -

This service features the choir and both traditional and contemporary readings and reflections on Christmas. -
December 24, 2024, 4 p.m. - An All-Ages Participatory Retelling of the Nativity
This services includes a no-rehearsal Nativity play that invites people of all ages to play a part. -
December 22, 2024: “Beauty of the Darkness”
In this service, we invite time for quiet reflection, tend to heartbreak, and also remember the promise of the returning light. -
December 21, 2025: A Celebration of Life: Peter Schwandt
Celebration of Life for Peter Schwandt: Saturday, December 21, at 2 p.m. A reception will be held following the service in Fellowship Hall. -

Join us for a contemplative service celebrating the Winter Solstice with candlelight, stories, music, and a spiral labyrinth, in the Sanctuary. -
