Religious Education

Religious Education

We believe that faith formation is a lifelong process.  Religious Education (RE) provides a structure to intentionally focus on spiritual growth, UU identity development, and values-based social change for children, youth, and adults.

  • We stand for social justice.
  • We are welcoming and inclusive to all.
  • We accept you wherever you are on your faith journey.
  • We care for our earth.
  • We nurture one another.

Since the Covid-19 pandemic has disrupted our familiar ways of being together, we are using this time to rethink our assumptions about religious education, experiment with new offerings and methods, and set a course that will help move us toward the goals our congregation is setting. Watch for unique opportunities to engage in children, youth, adult and multi-generational learning!

If you have dreams, stories, ideas, or questions you’d like to share in this process of discernment, please contact our Interim Religious Education Consultant, Michele Grove.  And if you want to get involved with some of the programs in development, contact religious education coordinator Stephanie Kimball.
