Community Care and Connection

Welcome to our Community Care and Connection page, where we highlight ways to care for and connect with fellow Unitarian Universalist Church of Bloomington congregants. This space serves as a bulletin page that will be updated based on need.

We learned this week that former UUCB member, Joyce Poor, passed away on October 24th. Joyce joined the church in 2011 after moving to Bloomington from Dallas, Texas. We send our love to her family and friends, including her son, Marshall Poor, of Bloomington. If there are plans for a memorial service, we will share this information.  

We learned recently that former UUCB member, Ken Pimple, passed away. Ken and his wife Jennifer Livesay were longtime members of the church until they moved to New York state. We send our sincerest condolences to Jennifer and all of Ken's family. A memorial service will likely be held here at church and we will share details when they are known.

Carrie Newcomer with Gary Walters - Dec. 7, 7pm
Bloomington’s own singer/songwriter, author, and poet.
