Found & Lost Picnic Item

Thank you for such a lovely community picnic. It was a joy to share food, laughter, and inspiring words with everyone. While washing dishes, our efficient kitchen volunteers inadvertently swapped a lid. If you are missing a lid with the initials "NSF," please contact me. You may have one marked with an "M" instead. Traveling University Upcoming Events!

The Traveling University has two upcoming events on health and health care: Health Care for All -- Medicare for All -- Just Right or Too Radical? by Dr. Rob Stone on Sunday, September 27, 2-3:30pm, here at UUCB, followed by Live Free AND Die: Growing Health Disparities Between Voters in “Red” Counties and “Blue” Counties, by Steve Vigdor and Tim Londergan (Sunday, October 18, 3:30-5pm, main branch of the Monroe County Public Library). The presentations by Scott Russell Sanders (September 20) and Ellen Ketterson (September 27) have been cancelled and will be rescheduled for spring 2027.

The Bright & the Night Main Gallery Show

Friday, October 2, at 5 p.m. at the I Fell

Lynn Gilliatt (UUCB member!) and Don Madvig have long talked about a joint show. Now, their exhibition centers on contrast: Lynne's vibrant, energetic pieces contrasted with Don's quieter, nocturnal studies.
