Online Giving
You may use the drop down menu on our Giving page to direct your donation to a specific fund (i.e. a general donation, a payment towards your pledge, or a Sunday Plate offering), as well as choose the frequency of your donation (one time or recurring). Our Giving page will automatically record pledge gifts in your pledge record, and will send you an email receipt. You may use a major credit card or set up an automatic payment from your checking account.
Online Bill Pay with Your Financial Institution
Many banks and financial institutions offer a convenient online bill pay option. You can set up a one-time or recurring payment to the church, directly through your bank. The bank will cut the check for you and mail it directly to us. Call your bank for more information.
Checks
- If you prefer to mail paper checks, make checks payable to “UU Church” and mail to UU Church, P.O. Box 8132, Bloomington, IN 47407.
- In-person: You can also drop checks into the offering basket on Sunday mornings, or deliver directly to the church office (Room 204) or our Director of Administration’s office (Room 201) during open office hours.
Note: if you are donating to fulfill a pledge commitment, please note on the memo line or with an accompanying note that it is a pledge payment, along with the fiscal year it’s going towards (i.e. “Pledge 22-23″). This helps us make our record-keeping more accurate. Thank you!
Stock Donations or Required Minimum Distributions
There may be tax advantages in giving appreciated stock or making direct contributions to the church through your IRA. Please consult with your broker or the administrator of your IRA for details on how to give this way.
