Seeking Gifts, Support for Justice, and Self-care Practices
The Giving Tree, a Unitarian Universalist Church of Bloomington annual tradition
Though much is different about this season, the needs in our community are much the same. From November 22nd- December 11th, our Giving Tree will be available virtually for anyone who would like to support a homeless teen, a child getting a head start, or a family living with HIV/AIDS by clicking here to offer a gift:
GIVING TREE 2020 SIGN UP
We hope that many members of our community will be able to participate.
Support the Unitarian Universalist Service Committee:
Click here and choose “UUSC” from the drop-down menu to offer a donation to support the ongoing justice work of the Unitarian Universalist Service Committee. If you’d like to choose the color of the star that will mark your donation, type that color in “write a note.” Learn more about their work here.
Self-care:
Click here to report your favorite self-care practice–we can learn from one another the best ways to stay happy and whole.
Celebration of Lights, December 12
Drop off your gift at our Celebration of Lights drive-through experience on December 12th, 5:00pm -7:00pm. There will also be holiday lights, live caroling by our choir over your radio, and a small gift for you at this event!
If you are unable to come to our Celebration of Lights, please contact Reverend Emily before December 10th to make alternate arrangements.
