The Reverend Emily Manvel Leite, Minister of Story and Ritual

Reverend Emily Manvel Leite served as our Minister of Religious Education from 2008-2021. She took on the additional role of Minister of Congregational Life in 2020. In July 2021, she began a new part-time position as our Minister of Story and Ritual.

Emily is a Transcendentalist Jewish Unitarian Universalist and storyteller who believes deeply in the transformative power of stories for all ages. She is a national trainer for the Spirit Play method of Religious Education.

Outside of church, her interests include visible mending, bread baking, poetry, gardening, and hikes in the woods.
