Family Worship

Family Worship

Family Worship is a time when families and friends come together to worship in an informal way that is welcoming for all ages. Services are on the first Wednesday of the month and dinner is provided. Check out June 23, 2008" target="_blank">The Prologue to find out the theme for this month's service.

A typical Family Worship goes like this:
5:15 Gathering-in time: crafts
5:30 Dinner provided, includes vegan option
6:00 everyone helps clean up
6:15 Worship Service
6:45 cookies and socializing

During the service we usually sit in a circle, with family seating on the floor and chairs for those who prefer them. Our services usually include a chalice lighting, singing and movement, joys and sorrows, and a closing ritual.
