Carol Marks joined our staff as Church Administrator in 1992. A native Hoosier, she became a member in 1987. She loves lists, and loves checking things off lists even more. Interests include Unitarian Universalism, fiber arts, poetry, folk music and French language and culture. Long ago she taught high school English and theater. She can be heard reading her poems occasionally on the radio, or at the UU Chalice Coffeehouse. One of her sons is an actor based in Houston, and the other is a wildfire fighter for the U.S. Forest Service in Region 6, the Great Northwest.

A recent seminary graduate, Shari is completing the credentialing process to become a UU minister this year. Adrienne Summerlot joined our staff in 2004.  Born and raised a Jersey girl, she spent years in Mississippi but is most proud to plant her roots in Bloomington.  She and her husband John, became members in 2010 and love seeing Unitarian Universalism through the eyes of their children, Susie, Kate and Nate.  Adrienne is extroverted and energetic and doesn’t believe in the idea of strangers.  She spends her spare time storytelling, teaching art to preschoolers, teaching water exercise to adults and exploring the many parks with her family and camera.
